Yeah, saw this :(

Open beta goes ahead as per usual though which might be of interest.

Am sad about this especially as I suspect it’s less about game fine tuning & more about release timing relating to other games. Seen quite a lot of press suggesting the pre order on bf 5 is seriously down on what they would have suspected (though honestly I can’t see why - a bizarre subset of players are upset about the game including female players as “unrealistic “ whilst managing to ignore the whole get shot & respawn “ mechanic, or the fact one character has a bionic limb, or that there are no officers giving orders. Realism bollocks-it’s a fecking game).

Oh well- it’s now out near my birthday- I can justify the cost to myself that way.

Here's another one - how do you build fortifications / barriers?

Don't tell Maggot that there's an 8.8 Gb update for CoD WW2 as well today or he might explode.

Thank you Villan, I saw your post on the other thread but assume we will be poking the BFV beta tonight.....so the CodUpdate will have to wait for another overnighter tonight. I downloaded the beta (it took from about 9 hours) and have run it once to do minor keyboard changes and had one go this afternoon very briefly. Died almost continuously but I suspect being allowed into an actual squad would help a lot. Will hopefully enjoy it a lot more when playing with the Clan.
