LA was asking about the food here: Ceviche - a dish of fish or seafood cooked in lemon juice:  Cazuela - a very thick spiced soup containing the Albacora fish:  There are many spicy chicken dishes, but the emphesis is on seafood (suits me). Then there is plantain.... everywhere.... Thin slices fried as a snack, like crisps:  Or baked (called "Madoros") and incredibly sweet:
